Hi Mr. P I saw the video and I just had a question about the blog. Are the questions just there for a guide or do you want us to answer them all in our blog response to our novel? Thank you!
Hello, Michelle! The questions are only a guide. As long as you read the novel and respond in some way, I'm good. The questions should help give you something to write about. The due date is also a guideline. After this unit, I will be offering daily one off lessons. Let me know if you have any ideas. I am thinking about sharing a list of possible classic British Literature titles. Maybe we could read current Brit Lit? Let me know.
Hi Mr. Pellerin! I really like The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. I think it started out kind of slow, but it picked up when she handed him her diary. I do have to keep remembering that after she hands him the diary, the things that I am reading and feeling are the same things Gilbert is reading and feeling. Also, speaking of works that relate to what's happening around us, a couple of days ago we watched Contagion in one of my classes. I would not recommend doing that.
Hi, Haley! I love this book, and it sounds like you are making great choices while reading the text. The movie thing is crazy! On Netflix and Amazon, both "Contagion" and "Outbreak" are popular movie choices, right now. How is this entertaining? I have been looking for the most fun comedies possible. I watched "Julie/Julia" and "The Guernsey Literary Potato Society" on Netflix. Great movies! I started watching "Hunters" which is ultra violent in a cartoon way. ;)
